These are the current roles for which we are recruiting:
You must have had own experiences of mental illness (i.e. either yourself, a friend, or family member has experienced mental illness), and you must be a student or have graduated within the past year. Training will be provided. Expected commitment is 3-4 hours a week. Expenses paid.
You must currently be studying law or have graduated, with an interest in and knowledge of mental health or third sector law. As you will be joining a new organisation, you will get to have a significant impact on how the organisation is shaped. Trustee/Governance training can be arranged. Expected commitment is 4-6 hours a week, although we can be flexible on this. Expenses paid.
Ambassadors can come from any background, and don’t need to have any specific experience. You just need to be passionate about the work we do, and happy to talk about this to other people! Preferably, you will currently be studying at a university within our catchment, but we will consider applicants from the wider community. This role is all about raising brand awareness amongst your peers (we’d never ask you to solicit donations).
Ideally, you will be studying or have graduated in Finance, Economics, or Accounting although we are willing to consider applicants from other specialities. Experience of managing finances desirable. Training can be arranged if necessary. Expected commitment 1-2 hours per week. Expenses paid.
Experience in a customer/patient-facing role essential. Ideally, you will also have had experience of handling confidential data, booking appointments, and handling schedules. Training on new systems will be provided. Expected commitment of ideally 1 day a week, although half days will be considered. Remote work. Expenses paid.
Experience in HR/personnel, recruitment, or occupational health is desirable but not essential. You will be arranging an interviews, writing volunteer agreements, and recovery signatures with guidance from our HR Trustee. You will also be involved with arranging training and managing expenses. Option to work remotely. Expected commitment of 3-4 hours a week. Expenses paid.
Experience in events management is essential for this role as you will be arranging, promoting, and managing fundraising events and activities. An interest in or knowledge of third sector work is a bonus. Expected commitment of 4-5 hours a week. Expenses paid.
